Alberto Arguello estudio derecho en la Universidad Catolica de Nicaragua, obtuvo su maestria en Derecho Animal en la Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona UAB, a como tambien tiene estudios en Administracion Financiera y Control de Calidad Total. Tiene una amplia trayectoria en la promoción del reconocimiento jurídico de los animales como seres sintientes en Nicaragua. Fundador de Derecho Animal Latinoamérica (DAnLa) y de la marca educativa Nicaragua Bestial NB, ha liderado iniciativas que integran el bienestar animal con la sostenibilidad agroalimentaria y la innovación tecnológica. Su trabajo académico y asesorías para instituciones nacionales e internacionales, como el Colegio Médico Veterinario de Nicaragua y Brooke Latin America, han contribuido significativamente al desarrollo de normativas pioneras en bienestar animal y trazabilidad bovina en la región. En Suiza en el instituto Roxbourg de emprendedrismo obtuvo el reconocimiento de GOOD 100 quien participo con el programa educativo de bienestar animal  "Mi vaca Feliz".  Actualmente, es investigador y como academico impulsa la iniciativa de  posicionar el estatus juridico de bovinos de carne y leche (doble proposito) como un standar verificable basado en bienestar animal, sostenbilidad, y derecho. 

Alberto Arguello studied Law at the Catholic University of Nicaragua. He obtained his Master’s degree in Animal Law from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), and has also pursued studies in Financial Management and Total Quality Control. He has an extensive track record in promoting the legal recognition of animals as sentient beings in Nicaragua.

As the founder of Derecho Animal Latinoamérica (DAnLa) and the educational brand Nicaragua Bestial NB, he has led initiatives that integrate animal welfare with agri-food sustainability and technological innovation. His academic work and advisory roles for national and international institutions, such as the Veterinary Medical Association of Nicaragua and Brooke Latin America, have significantly contributed to the development of pioneering regulations on animal welfare and bovine traceability in the region.

In Switzerland, at the Roxbourg Institute of Entrepreneurship, he received recognition from the GOOD 100 for his participation with the animal welfare educational program “My Happy Cow.” Currently, he is a researcher and academic promoting the initiative to position the legal status of beef and dairy cattle (dual-purpose) as a verifiable standard based on animal welfare, sustainability, and law.
